Foundation Cigars founder Nick Melillo recently transitioned production of the acclaimed Wise Man Maduro to the renowned My Father Cigars factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, where master blenders José 'Pepin' Garcia and Jaime Garcia oversee its creation. A dark, oily San Andrés wrapper envelops a rich blend of aged binder and filler tobaccos cultivated on Garcia family estates in Estelí, Condega, and Jalapa. Deep notes of wood, black licorice, baking spices, and earth unfold throughout the smoke, balanced by a hearty undercurrent of hickory and natural sweetness.
