Island Jim #2 Barber Pole

Wahoo. A single word that has stuck with me since the first time I heard it, probably a decade or so ago. If you’re not familiar with it, it’s the signature saying of “Island” Jim Robinson, whose cigar industry roots lie both in being a retailer and a cigar brand owner. In the case of the latter, he developed the “Leaf by” series, which features a cigar packaged in a tobacco leaf instead of cellophane. While that line has had a handful of collaborators, by far the most well-known and best-selling is the Leaf by Oscar line, created with Oscar Valladares.
