Plasencia Reserva Original stands as one of the few truly organic cigars available today. In the early 2000s, Nestor Plasencia Jr. began cultivating organic tobacco on select estates, leading to the release of a blend known as Reserva Organica. The modern Reserva Original continues that legacy, utilizing the same carefully cultivated tobaccos and carrying certification under the standards of the Organic Crop Improvement Association (OCIA). Every component of the blend—from the wrapper to the binder and fillers—is grown on Plasencia’s Nicaraguan farms without the use of pesticides or insecticides. The result is a distinctive smoking experience layered with notes of earth, vanilla, cereal, and exotic Turkish spices, finishing with a naturally sweet and memorable character.
