Tobacco farming was introduced here by Cuban exiles in the 1960s, bringing added depth to an area already renowned for producing some of the world’s finest cocoa and coffee for generations. Designed to create a refined cigar that pairs seamlessly with bourbon, a Brazilian Arapiraca binder encases a blend of barrel-aged Piloto Cubano long-fillers from the Dominican Republic and Estelí Ligero from Nicaragua. Notes of cedar, pepper, turbinado sugar, earth, and espresso harmonize with the brown sugar, spice, oak, toffee, and dark fruit characteristics present in every bottle of Buffalo Trace®.
